#SlowDownZindagi

When I wake up every morning at 6:00 to the shrill alarm, I groan by the realization that another hectic day has begun. A new day means fresh problems to deal with and added entries in things-to-do lists.  And being one of those sincere girls, responsibilities and tasks quickly top on the plate of my priorities; studies, project dead-lines, problems at college, maintaining friendships, keeping everyone around happy and the list goes on. Staying away from home adds up more responsibilities. It is silly to say but I also stress when I do not have a new blog on my site for a few months because of the busy days (Thanks to this activity, one of my stress has finally vanished!).

All of us have busy lives, we worry about work, family, paying bills and our personal happiness. Life becomes rife with stress and worries. And then when it becomes too much, we need something to slow down our life for just a bit so that we can de-stress and calm ourselves. I am going to share my ways of de-stressing.

In case of problems and unhappy times, lots of work and frustrations, I approach to nobody else but my diary, my best friend. I take out time and write down about all problems, as if talking to a close person. At the end of the page, I feel surprisingly very relaxed and calm. My diary has always casted magical spells on me, making me feel good every time. Writing doesn’t resurrect, it buries. Then when I finally get a little peaceful, I sit down with my to-do-lists, ticking out the ones that I finished and adding the new ones. Lists calm me down; they are preliminaries to necessary activities and force me to concentrate on specific items rather than on reasons for selecting them!

Another way of de-stressing myself; I make long calls to my mom, sharing every minute problem. We talk like close girl friends, she sharing her stresses and I mine. And then when I hear papa shouting at us from behind to pay him some attention too, we laugh and finally keep down the phone. It relieves me at-a-time from so many stresses, I start feeling good again! Love you mom :*

On some days, I come home stressed and tired from the college, too tired to complete any work or think anything new. So I set out on the bustling Ahemdabad streets with my dear roommate, we walk aimlessly, gossip, laugh, buy each other chocolates and bingo!…I feel so de-stressed by the time I reach home. Sometimes I pamper myself with calming hot-oil massages and then sleep peacefully with earphones plugged in, keeping all the stress at bay.

Stresses pass, the way bad weather does. All we need is to build up our ways to de-stress ourselves and slow down our zindagi so that we can rejuvenate our lives once again to be able to cope up with the fast world.

I am going to try a new quick way to De-stress & #SlowDownZindagi using Parachute Advansed Aromatherapy Oil in association with BlogAdda‘. Share your ways of de-stressing life with me too by commenting below! Live freely 🙂

  2. When stress enters in your life then your mind always first left you alone and a powerful negative thought’s ring make a circle around you.
We will rush to those things which gives us peace or keep you in calm.
My colourful threads always give me peace of mind and directed me towards positive thing and creates a peaceful ring around me.
